Shaping climate future

Networks for a climate-friendly future.

Lower Saxony Centre for Climate Research

Welcome to the Lower Saxony Centre for Climate Research (Zentrum Klimaforschung Niedersachsen, or ZKfN for short). It is a place where researchers and stakeholders from civil society, politics and the economy join forces in topic-specific Climate Future Labs to conduct research on the challenges and impacts of climate change. Our goal is to shape a just climate future for all of us in Lower Saxony and to facilitate dialogue amongst a wide variety of climate stakeholders between the North Sea and the Harz Mountains.

Through networks that span locations and disciplines, we strive to develop approaches and solutions for a just climate future and engage in broad and application-oriented exchanges of knowledge. We invite you to browse our website, familiarise yourself with our work and get in touch with us. Become a part of our network and help us shape our climate’s future!
