With a view to the goal of greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045, there is still a lot to do and to transform. Some German universities already have climate research centres, some of which are also tasked with implementing knowledge transfer.
Examples of implementation, methods, challenges and what transfer can actually mean here are discussed with the following institutions:
- Lower Saxony Climate Research Centre (https://zkfn.de/), at the TU Braunschweig
- Climate Change CentreBerlinBrandenburg (https://climate-change.center/)
- Copernicus Project Ariadne (https://ariadneprojekt.de/), at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change
There will be a short input from each speaker followed by space for discussion and questions.
