
These are my tasks at the ZKfN:
I am the communications and marketing officer and thus oversee the center's communications channels. I create content for our magazine, our Social Media- profiles and all other ZKfN channels. To do this, I am constantly on the lookout for inspiring topics and stories from our climate future labs and climate research in Lower Saxony.
How I came to the ZKfN:
I actually come from a background in science communication and am a classic career changer in climate and climate impact research. During my traineeship in the press and communications department at the TU Braunschweig, I reported a lot about sustainability, climate research and the circular economy for the TU's online magazine and social media channels. So when I finished my traineeship and the opportunity arose to start at the ZKfN, it was the perfect opportunity to delve even deeper into this exciting field of research.
These are my wishes for the climate:
Greener and cooler cities with a high quality of life and a high quality of stay, living forests and landscapes with high biodiversity – beyond the undoubtedly justified concerns and fears associated with climate change, I hope that we can emphasise in our communication that climate research not only aims to avoid climate catastrophe, but also to improve our future life overall.
