UMEX-HOPE

SP5 - Participation

SP5 develops recommendations for health-promoting and resilient climate adaptation in a transdisciplinary process, with stakeholders discussing findings from all subprojects and compiling them in policy briefs and an informational video.

In SP5, we bring together stakeholders from urban and regional planning, academia, the housing sector, and civil society to jointly discuss strategies, needs, expectations, and barriers for forward-looking, health-promoting, and resilient climate adaptation. Within this transdisciplinary participation process, we conduct expert interviews, focus groups, and workshops in which key results from all subprojects of the UMEX-HOPE project are presented and serve as a basis for discussion.

The jointly developed recommendations for urban and regional planning—particularly focusing on microclimate regulation and health impacts on vulnerable population groups—will be presented in policy briefs. In addition, we will produce an informational video that illustrates our case studies and the content of this subproject through interviews with our stakeholders.
