The Climate Future Lab OPEN_CULTURES is dedicated to the question of how urban development can be designed to be climate-friendly—from community gardens to energy communities. In a recent article entitled “Climate from the roots: Subproject in the transdisciplinary research project ‘Open Planning Cultures’” in the Journal für Kulturpflanzen, the researchers present subproject 1, which highlights the connection between local gardening, community initiatives, and climate impact.
